Product and Portfolio Analyst

We are currently seeking a Product and Portfolio Analyst to support the management of our renewables portfolio and the development of new products. This role plays a key part in translating the work of the analytical and reporting teams into action – for example, pruning underperforming or unprofitable plants from the portfolio and coordinating with other teams in case of performance issues. You will also contribute to keeping the acquisition cost of new assets low both by contributing to our bidding strategy during tenders and by supporting the development and implementation of new products.  

What would you work on? 

• Monitor and maximize the PnL performance of assets in Second Foundation’s portfolio by maintaining a healthy and profitable portfolio. 
• Track portfolio acquisition progress against targets and contribute to pricing and bidding strategies. 
• Develop and coordinate implementation of new products that support the Origination business. 
• Collaborate with teams across the company, including Sales, TSS, Assets Analytics, Assets Reporting, DEV, Finance and Accounting. 

What makes you a great candidate? 

• University degree in a quantitative field (mathematics, physics, computer science, economics or similar). 
• Working knowledge of Python, SQL and Excel. 
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and clear communication in English. 
• Bonus points for experience in power or renewables markets, business reporting/controlling, and German language skills.
